If you travel to a foreign country, it can be a good idea to bring your own bottled water. Unfortunately drinking water in most countries will cause you to get sick because it is not purified. You should even use your bottled water when brushing your teeth. It is quite possible to become ill if you do not use it for this type of personal hygiene task.

If a hotel is fully booked, you can try asking to rent a room that is considered out of order. Rooms that have maintenance issues like damaged carpets or excessive dirt will be taken out of service until the issues can be addressed.

If you are thinking about going to a specific place that sells tickets, head to its website and see if it is possible to buy and print tickets from there. Just avoiding the time you will wait in line makes up for the small online printing fee. Timed entry is another option that can allow you to bypass long lines to pay for admission.

Take some A/V cables so you can hook up your computer to the TV when you are in the hotel. You can watch movies and other content through your computer this way and avoid the high fees of renting content through the hotel.
